Funding Options * Private health funds Please check with your health fund regarding potential claim entitlements under your policy. A gap payment will be required. 
* Medicare rebates apply for eligible clients. These programs include: - Chronic Disease Management (CDM) for clients with a chronic or complex medical condition requiring a GP Management Plan or Team Care Arrangement (Item 10970 Rebate = $54.60) A maximum of 5 sessions per calendar year may be claimed from an allied health professional. - Speech Pathology Health Service for a person who is of Aborginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (Item 81360 Rebate = $54.60) An additional 5 sessions per calendar year may be claimed from an allied health professional. - Helping Children with Autism and Betterstart programs for clients under 13 years of age, when diagnosed and under 15 yeas of age at the time of treatment. (Assessment Item 82005 Rebate = $77.10 and Treatment Item 82020 Rebate = $77.10). A maximum of 4 assessment sessions and a maximum of 20 treatment sessions may be claimed from an allied health professional. Please see your GP for advice about eligibility and referral for Medicare rebates (with the exception of Medicare HCWA services, which require a Paediatrican / Psychiatrist referral). A gap payment will be required. * Step by Step Speech Pathology fees depend on the length of session and service provided. Fees are required to be paid by internet banking / EFT within 7 days.
